RASRANDYSRECORDS, FOUNDED IN HAWAII, Pahoa Big Island, Who has thirty years, of Performance skills,
Rangeing between Afro Sambas, to Reggae. Raised in Indiana as a child, I traveled
with my Parents, My father joined the airforce, my brother and i began, our world tour. going places: Mothers a nurses, At the age of seven about we ALL when,t too Turkey, a place called Incerlic, we lived there
for about 3years, on base and in town,With the people, then returned to the states,
we stoped in Japan. France, Germandy, I and my family returned to the bay area, and ended up, In Los
Angeles calif around 1965. Where i finished my schooling, up till i joined the
USMC i recieved an honorable 6years, I came out,with my guitar, that was good. The
years were, 1973-1979 I retuned with My wife, and began a new life, working a maitances job, then i met, Mr Benny
Duarte he lived with us, along with my grandparents and kids, he taught me Samba in my kitchen, and Capoeira in the back yard,
This was 1979 we later founded Embra Samba, Moven on with our lives, The Good Lord had bless
me with about, Eight years, of Samba Dancing, From L.A. too Seattle Wa, too Hawaii, while i lived in Seattle , I
form the Seattle Escola de Samba School, At Yesler Center 1985, We recieved an award, as the most Exciting Group, from
the Seafair Parade Committy, Bigup to, Mike and his Family as the Black Seafair Parade which
was blessed, I also Formed a Crew of drummers called RIO-ONDA, before i was performing with such artiss as, Ron Powel,
Laudir de Oliveria, Moasir Santos, Walter Wonderly, Ray Amando, Bobby Mataeo, Bira Copacobana, Lucy da Silva, Thembi Teles, And many other Wonderful Artiss, I also had the pleasure, during the years of 1980-84
Embra Sambas Last gig that i Performed was at the Builtmore Hotel, downtown L.A. tHere i met Robert Culp, im a Big
Fan of I sPY. I opened up a studio while in Seattle, on 1st and bell, before that
i was at the Lincoln arts center, on bell st, I also Got Saved There, by a LITTLE tv that only got one chanel which was TBN, Praise
the lord program 1985. The Crew was movin Rio onda that is, we had the honor too play at the 1987 fourth of july off
pier 91 on bay front, I also would ask some members to perform with me, from time too time,
so there is a little cabara called the pink door, in pikeplace, I had just met al hendrix and had too invite him,
to come and he did, i have the show, my guys included, haruki sakurada, muneca, & Andy
Etue, we introduced Al hendrix, everyone gave him a big hand, so not too long after, Rio onda, was invited,
TO atten at the Ramada inn, for The Seattle SeaHawks cheerleaders team, that was nice, about 1987.
Then I recieved an invite to come too Hawaii, a place called Kalani Honua, a Mr Richard kubb to teach and do a workshop
Samba / Capoeira, a few months later, i was gettin dreaded and digin Robert Nesta Marley, oh yeah this was
1987 - 1989, lava flow gotta go , I arrived back in L.A. made a visit to my kids, then
ended up in Venicebch, where i stayed for about 10 years, Jah Spirit led me, i wound up next too Mr Jack Heror, who had a
Hemp Station, him legalize it, 1996, in the state, of Cal thur Decrimenalizing it, Jah know. thur prayer all things
are possiable, meanwhile, I met up with Maurice Travis a Muay Tai fighter, we spent sometime given thanks and enjoying Bob Marley, i later
metup with Mr Nasir Habib, and then Mark Gaylard, this time was about 1991, the beginning of my Overstanding of Rastafari
mi start as supporting artiss, Performing with WADADA Inner
secrets also Rebel Souls W/ Edgar Montez, i also attended church at RasMicheal located at 10th
and florence blvd, and again at Vermont and 98th in L.A. CALIF. mi also Performed at the Grand slam, with Wadada
and Misto JOE HIGGS, thinking back, when
in Hawaii Calabas Jacob Millers band came to the CIVIC in Hilo, i metup with DON TAYLOR,and RITA MARLEY, also at the CIVIC,
Jah know.Back in L.A. I also metup with Casting Director MR VICTOR DAVIS who has credits
producing White Men Can,t Jump, Boys in THE HOOD, when ABRAHAM SALASEE, came we all met at Victors HOME, he spoke of
his Solomonic Airship, toward Robert Nesta Marley, i also had the pleasure to meet up with JAD records himself DANNYSIMMs
and his lovely daughter, at them place in Beverlyhills , I was with the rastamon from NEWCOAST TRAVEL 723 Oceanfront
walk Venice CA ask for Richard him help the i at that time. I
and I linkup to help Nasir who at the age of 9 traveled with his uncle, who was commisioned by the Goverment to Tour
With Robert Nesta Marley, he himself has a large collection of footage and tapes of shows, both here in the US, and in
Africa, and Germandy as well,him being a sound engineer almost all his life, ended up in Venicebch we all had vans, so we
moved around together, i was on a mission to link Nasir up to a Mr HARUKI OKADA thur a young japenees youth ASHOSHI
who took the time, to fly back to japan to meet MR OKADA on my behalf, we recieved a contract in Japanees, so Nasir
had to rewrite and resend. sSO
in many ways this was the begining of our networking to setup Nasir so he could deal with OKADA, So time will tell,
even too this Day, Rastafari LIVES
